Hello, I’m Terry Hudson. Welcome to my website. 

I know that you only have to mention double glazing and people instantly go on their guard. But it's one of those things that sooner or later most of us have to deal with. Not only do most people find it about as fascinating as an old cheese sandwich, but nearly everybody hates a double glazing salesman.

Where did this website spring from? 

Through my 26 years in the business I have gained a thorough knowledge of every make, type and description of double glazing. I have a naturally inquiring and open mind and have always really enjoyed my work. Sad, isn't it? I'm enthusiastic about the very subject you just want to get over and done with as quickly as possible.

This website started as a few outline pages in late 1998. I wasn't really thinking that I would one day have my own website, just sort of daydreaming and 'doodling' with the idea. When I did a search on the name I wanted, in May 1999, and saw it was available, I registered it straight away and got all excited. I quickly bashed out some more material and first published a dozen or so pages as my original site on 5th July 1999 - 'fame at last'!

I am pleased to say that many people find the 'inside information' on my pages helpful and the double glazing discussion forum is very popular. The more positive feedback I get from visitors, the harder I try to make the site the one to go to for advice on double glazing. 

So, let me try and help you. Wherever you go on this website, I'm going to be your expert 'friend-in-the-trade', talking to you the way I talk to customers - no spin and no bull. Only remember, I'm not selling you anything and I'm not getting paid for this!

The vast majority of visitors to my website from the UK (98.73% to be precise) live outside of the area in which The Window Man business works (please note: South East Essex ONLY).
