I happened to
stumble across your site while searching for something
else and found it very informative ... I really do think
your site offers some good practical advice to the
purchaser of double glazing. |

You and I are of
about the same age and experience, and there is little
that I could add to what you have written. I even found
a few items in there that were new to me. Very well
done. |

Once again I am
impressed. Your site must quite easily be one of
the busiest of its type in the world. What you are
doing for the industry and consumer is of value. Sweet,
sophisticated and phenomenally better - in fact better
than better, first-class job - and I don't mind if you
quote me. Hird - London |

I think you have a great site, very
informative and I think that you are doing a great job ... I think that the info that you
give away is very valuable and could save someone thousands
on purchasing double glazing and conservatories. |

...windowman.co.uk is somewhere in the Mirror/Daily Express
area - both cherish their impish status, wouldn't have it any
other way, and their readers love them for it ... you appear to
recognise the need to strike an information balance to inform
the public. Windowman.co.uk isn't window-university and shouldn't try to be
because that would seriously miss the point
... I don't know of another glazing industry forum like yours,
where information and opinion can be obtained openly and
generously in the way you have achieved it ... I suspect that
you'll shortly get an increase in techie enquirers and contributors as the word spreads ... The fact that Jay
(Terminus) has mentioned windowman.co.uk at all is both recognition and good publicity.
Keep it up, Terry! |

Your site is a great help to people in and not in the trade. There are so many companies in the industry with the hard sell and poor products/craftsmanship that over the years they have made replacement windows a grey area. I myself find your site informative, so the general public who fear us must be grateful to you and your site for impartial advice to set their minds at rest and offer a little comfort that they have someone to ask the questions the dg companies sidestep. Good site, keep up the good work as we are not all bad. |

Easy to navigate and answered questions that we needed to know, but would never have thought of. Very impressive- wish that there were more sites like this. Maybe you should try and do this sort of thing on different subjects and charge a small fee for access? |

Your website is fantastic. I am currently looking for double glazing for my house. A lot of manufacturers have come round and given me good sales tactics, after reading through your site I know what's bull and what isn't. Thanks to you. Keep it up, its a fantastic site if you don't know anything about double glazing. Thank you. |

Thank you for a most informative and useful site of information. I am in the process of trying to find suitable double glazing. At the moment I am due to see a rep. from Coldseal and one from St Helen's Glass (Merseyside). |

I really liked your honesty in advice given on the sales pitch and the exposure of just how much theses greedy salesmen want to con us for. Keep up the good work and find a way of publicising your site more to help get rid of the sharks and get fair play/fair prices for all of us. |

Overall, brilliant site that serves a very useful purpose. Me, I'm looking to double-glaze a four-bed detached house. It will cost quite a lot and last for years. Being a perfectionist, I like to gather a lot of information so that double-glazing salesmen don't baffle me. Your site has helped me become knowledgeable. Thanks a lot! |

I have just been round the loop (and am about to select a supplier) and am amazed at how much of what you say is true... It really pays to be equipped with some facts and your site has boosted my confidence in buying a great deal. |

I was sceptical at first about the validity of your site but my own knowledge gathered over 15 years in the industry, from glass cutter to PVC-U manufacturer, tended to agree with your own views. It appears you have studied your occupation rather than just set out to make a quick buck. |
